چکیده
There is a correspondence between integrable lattice models of statistical mechanics and discrete equations which satisfy multidimensional consistency, where the latter may be found in quasi-classical expansion former. This paper extends this to interaction-round-a-face (IRF) models, resulting new formulation consistency-around-a-cube (CAC) integrability condition applicable five-point square lattice. Multidimensional consistency for these formulated as consistency-around-a-face-centered-cube (CAFCC), namely involves satisfying an overdetermined system fourteen eight unknown variables on face-centered cubic unit cell. From limit IRF are constructed from continuous spin solutions star-triangle relations associated Adler-Bobenko-Suris (ABS) list, fifteen sets obtained CAFCC.

Adaptive face coding and discrimination around the average face
Adaptation paradigms highlight the dynamic nature of face coding and suggest that identity is coded relative to an average face that is tuned by experience. In low-level vision, adaptive coding can enhance sensitivity to differences around the adapted level. We investigated whether sensitivity to differences around the average face is similarly enhanced. Converging evidence from three paradigms...
متن کاملA Construction of Solutions to Reflection Equations for Interaction-Round-a-Face Models
We present a procedure in which known solutions to reflection equations for interactionround-a-face lattice models are used to construct new solutions. The procedure is particularly well-suited to models which have a known fusion hierarchy and which are based on graphs containing a node of valency 1. Among such models are the AndrewsBaxter-Forrester models, for which we construct reflection equ...
متن کاملSURF-Face: Face Recognition Under Viewpoint Consistency Constraints
Introduction. Recently, a comparative study in [2] has shown the superior performance of local features for face recognition in unconstrained environments. Due to the global integration of Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) [1], the authors claim that it stays more robust to various image perturbations than the more locally operating SIFT descriptor. However, no detailed analysis for a SURF base...
متن کاملAnalyzing Gaze During Face-to-Face Interaction
We present here the analysis of multimodal data gathered during realistic face-to-face interaction of a target speaker with a number of interlocutors. Videos and gaze have been monitored with an experimental setup using coupled cameras and screens with integrated eye trackers. With the aim to understand the functions of gaze in social interaction and to develop a coherent gaze control model for...
